There are a range of restaurants and bars  in the local area . Most offer excellent fish , combined with rice dishes and meat.
All  open in July and August  and at weekends. Not always open mid week evenings out of season.

La Azohia
Bar and restaurant Leon , the first bar along the front , good for paella.
Antipodas -  bar/restaurant  at the end of the bay below the tower. Beautiful views across the bay. Mainly outside.
Restaurant la Azohia – opposite the church at the end of the bay.
Rivemar Bar – snack bar attached to dive school opposite beach.
Restaurant La Bodega -  on corner at end of bay opposite beach.  Mainly inside. A few tables outside.
Restaurant Piscis – good fish and meat towards the end of the bay. Nice overlooking the beach. Terrace and inside.
Restaurant Vistabella --  bar and restaurant opposite beach . open from early for breakfast . Some tapas and restaurant inside.
Meson Acuario – bar on parade of shops by pharmacy . mainly tapas some main dishes.

Isla Plana
Restaurant el Nono -Excellent restaurant on way to isla plana from Azohia. Good meat and fish.
Rest La chara  - restaurant with bar attached in Isla Plana.

Puerto mazarron
There are lots of restaurants 15mins away in Puerto Mazarron. Just 1 or 2 are :
Marcela’s Pizzeria in centre – my kids say they are the best pizza’s!
Restaurant  Arco – in centre – good restaurant
Restaurant  Miramar – excellent fish restarant on front at la isla.
Restaurant Puerto – excellent fish restaurant overlooking new port

Cartagena
Those missing their macdonalds fix. The nearest one is in Cartagena on the Eroski site.
There are a range of restaurants in the port area and town centre.
