There are  a  wide range of  things to do in the local area  and further afield. We provide some info and leaflets in the apartment.

Walking/Cycling/Fishing
There are large stretches of coastline on which to walk and cycle . Bikes can be rented in Mazarron.
The Sierra de Espuna National Park is half an hour away.
Fishing is very popular on the beaches and out to sea . i found good info on (www.garysmithfishing.com)

Diving
There are ample opportunities to dive and snorkel in la azohia bay, 3 companies are based in the bay:
Rivemar , (www.rivemar.es)
Cabo tinoso  ( www.cabotinoso.es)
Andromeda (www.andromedabuceo.es)
www.divinginmazarron are British and based around 10mins away at Puerto Mazarron, as are www.zoea.com .

Sailing
there is a sailing club in Mazarron and further opportunities to sail or learn to sail and windsurf on the Mar Menor at la Manga around half an hour away. (www.windsurf3.com).

Motor Racing
For the land based enthusiast there is a racing circuit with opportunities for go karts and other things near Cartagena (www.circuitocartagena.com ) or at www.lamangagokart.com .

Golf
There are a number of golf clubs within half an hour at Camposol or Hacienda del Alamo at Fuente Alamo (www.hdagolf.com) and the world renowned La Manga Club at around 40 mins.

Water Parks
There are 3 water parks within an hour at Torrevieja (www.aquopolis.com/torrevieja and  www.aquaparkflamingo.com) and Vera (www.ociovera.com ) and a further one in Murcia City .

Theme Parks
There is a safari park at Elche www.riosafari.com
The big theme park at Terra Mitica is around 2 hours away near Benidorm, Valencia (www.terramitica.es)
