For the more active, historical Cartagena is only 20 minutes away
over the hills. In La Azohia there are at least 3 dive centres, fishing
other watersports and areas for walking and cycling.
Nearby (within half an hour) there are plenty of opportunities for
golf, all manner of other water sports, tennis, cycling and walking.
There are water parks within an hours drive, numerous beaches along
with several National Parks. At Cartagena there is the Maritime museum,
open top bus rides and boat trips. Murcia City is around 1 hour away
(very hot in summer).
