From Alicante Airport
Follow signs out of airport towards Murcia (motorway …). This
means right out of the car hire, left out of the airport, the motorway
is around 2km. Follow the motorway south for around 10 mins to the turnoff/
split. At this point fork right to Cartagena/Torrevieja NOT straight
on/left to Murcia.
Follow this motorway for around half an hour – past the 2 tolls
and San Javier (Murcia Airport) – towards Cartagena.

From Murcia Airport
Left out of the airport then right at the mini roundabout. At the motorway
junctions go under the motorway and turn left, signposted to Cartagena,
onto the motorway. Follow motorway for around 15mins into Cartagena.
If in doubt follow signs to Centro ciudad. You are into Cartgena when
you come down off the flyover with Carrefour on the right.
Follow this road through Cartagena for around 2km, through quite a few
lights.
At the roundabout /square at the end (Plaza d’Espana), follow signs
to Mazarron N322. This takes you more or less straight on past the Comisaria
de Policia. Turn right at the next lights, past the Museo Nacional on
the left, then right at the next lights.
Follow the road for around 1km (Eroski should be a little way off to
your right). At the next roundabout (with 2 modern apartment towers by
it). Go straight over towards Canteras – NOT towards Mazarron.
Go along through Canteras – watch the speed bumps – and out
into the country. This takes you up and over the hills. This should take
around 15mins. When you start going over and down the other side – with
the great view of the Bay of Mazarron – you are nearly there!
Carry on down when the road straightens out, before the bottom as the
road bends to the right take the left turn signposted to La Azohia, (if
you arrive at Isla Plana you have gone too far and need to turn round).
Carry along this road past the Hotel L’Azohia on the right and
then a parade of shops. After the shops take the first left and follow
up the slope for a couple of hundred metres. As the road bends to the
right the apartment is on your left, turn left into the complex at the
first opportunity and park on the left 30 yards or so up the hill.
